A sizable challenge: fitting orthotics and shoes for feet of all shapes and sizes!
A World Record challenge has been met by Shoetech Shoetech recently fitted shoes and orthotics for Peter Iroga, a young man from the Solomon Islands. The shoes and orthotics Shoetech created for Peter has set a world record – It's official, The Guinness Book of World Records has announced Peter Iroga as having the largest feet of any living male/female in the world!! These were the biggest shoes and custom made orthotics that the specialists at Shoetech have ever made in over 30 years of designing shoes and inserts for extraordinary feet. The young customer measured 7ft 4 inches in height with a European shoe size 60; in US size this translates to a whopping 22.5, which in metric equals 40cm. Karl-Heinz Schott, Shoetech founder and foot care professional, who is also a certified Pedorthist and custom shoe maker worked with his team at the clinic to accommodate the challenge of Peter's needs.
This presented them with a sizable challenge, but one to which they were readily able to rise. Mr Iroga discovered the services of Shoetech, with clinics at Dee Why and Concord in the inner west. He brought his young nephew along for the record breaking measure up. Recently the Guinness World Records Australian representative, Chris Sheedy, confirmed Peter Iroga as having the world's largest feet of a living person.
