• 36 year old male
• tibia, fibular and metatarsal bone 2 fractures
• Left partial paralysis (drop foot)
• mechanical stress caused direct pain, suggesting ongoing micro-instability

• Rigid lower leg orthoses
• Controlled movement
• Allowing weight bearing reducing micro instability promoting unionisation of bone
